Deepa is the co-founder of ATMATVA and practices as an Expressive Arts Therapist and Arts based Facilitator. She completed ‘Foundation Course in Expressive & Creative Arts Therapy’ from the Studio for Movement Arts and Therapies (, basic course in Gestalt Therapy and post-graduation in psychology. She integrates movement, imagery, drawing, painting, creative writing, sculpting, sand play, and theatre in her work with adolescents and adults . ATMATVA Wellness Centre is the expressive arts space run by Deepa, with diverse art materials and methodologies for individuals to explore and express their deepest thoughts and feelings, transcend limiting patterns and thrive in life.

Deepa combines her 15 years of lived HR experience (OD, Training and Talent Management), her training in Expressive arts and her presence to deliver a personalized journey to wellness and transformation to her individual and corporate clients. In her last full time corporate role, served as Head of OD in an Aditya Birla Group company where she used creative approaches for culture building, development, employee engagement and young talent management in alignment with strategic goals of the organization. In her tenure, the organization engagement scores showed a consistent increase and she was a part of the team which won the “Best HR Practices” award among all group companies as a part of the prestigious “Aditya Birla Awards” annual ceremony.

Deepa is an MBA in Human resources and a certified “Instructional Designer” with an OD Certification from NTL Institute. As a part of her continued learning, she is currently part of 3 year certification (2016-18) for being a 'biography work' consultant, and a 5 year certification (2016-20) with London 'Eurythmy' group - both of which draw inspiration from Rudolf Steiner's work in Anthroposophy, and have application in leadership contexts.
